The Boats

Mitzi 1I will guide you to all kinds of fish for you to catch or I will guide you to all kinds of wildlife photography opportunities so you may take those rare photos. To meet your needs I use a Mitzi 15 on the flats and back country guides. My Mitzi drafts around 4 inches of water. Now we normally will not catch fish in only 4 inches of water, we will at times need the ability to go over depths that shallow to get to that trophy catch or that one of a kind photo. The Mitzi has GPS and a compass so we will know where we are at all times. It is also equipped with a Marine Radio and Cell Phone. The Mitzi also has a dead quiet electric trolling motor and a poling platform.

Mitzi 2My Mitzi meets or exceeds all U.S. Coast Guard Regulations. If you take a look at Fish on Flats you can target the species of fish you are after and use the reservation page to pick what you would like to do. For photo guiding, please email me about migration activity. If either fisherman or photographer have questions of any nature you are invited to email me or call me.

Redfisher 18The boat is a Hewes Redfish 18 with E-TEC power. The Redfisher is a very stealthy boat used for hoping the key islands and spoils as well as backcountry fishing. This boat gives me extended range and is a high speed boat to shorten the trip time. She handles the seas very well and will accommodate three fishermen on the flats. The boat is equiped with polling platform, wireless trolling motor and power pole. A large raw water fishbox to keep your catch alive and fresh to gather strength before release is great. Bow casting platform is in use and can be removed if not wanted by the client. She has a flip up seat with back rest and is a very comforable ride on top of being a very quite boat. She can carry two adults plus the Captain. The Hewes Redfisher is a legend and I am proud to bring you aboard.

Both boats are equipted with GPS, marine radio and cell phone. Both boats also meet or exceed all USCG requirements.
