Where We Fish
We will fish from as far north as Homosassa Flats and Saint Martins Marsh to as far south as Anclote Key. We will fish right in the fishes back yard in 3 to 4" of water and work our way back into the backcountry and bayous. Depending of the season and the target species we will fish in one of the locations below.
St. Martins Preserve is a bit up north but really takes no time to get there. Fantastic fishing and photo opportunities await. The natural beauty is startling as well as peaceful. The St. Martins Reef is in the area but out to sea. The Saint Martins Marsh requires a full day charter and really two days are better.
Anclote Key and 3-Rooker Bar are just far enough north of Tampa Bay to be away from all of the activity there and south enough to be very tropical. The fishing is outstanding near shore and inshore and it is a very beautiful area with white sands on the keys surrounded by blue green waters. I donit know how many miles of coast line my fishing range is however it is hundreds and hundreds of miles of coast line and it is all fantastic.
Green Key. This place has it all. Itis a very quiet area and the fishing is very good year round. You can expect to catch snook, reds, seatrout, shark, tarpon on the run as they pass through to the north, mackerel and king mackerel at times. For you shutter bugs this is a great area for some unusual wildlife photos as the Audubon Society can attest to from some of my shots.
Green Key is in Port Richey, Florida and is surrounded by great fishing waters. The Cotee River is nearby for winter snook and reds, as well as the Anclote River. There are miles of beautiful grassy sand flats and numerous tributaries feeding the emerging bait fish and shrimp with nutrients. This makes for a fantastic fishery that is very quite. Additionally there are several bayous in the back waters that are accessible with my skiff that are teaming with wildlife. This is one of my favorite areas to fish and I think it will be yours as well. Just email me and set up a charter.
